by AF 1209 i3 — December 11, 2009—Inspired by whimsical images of jugglers and acrobats, J+J/Invision’s newest collection, Night at the Circus, includes a broad spectrum of patterns that were designed to provide a canvas for a wide variety of interiors.
Ranging from playful motifs to clean geometrics derived from the architecture of circus scenography to sophisticated designs that reference the textures and subtleties of the performers’ fantastical costumes, the products are accented by a high-luster yarn that creates a sparkle in each colorway, reminiscent of the lights during an evening under the big top – some bright and some metallic.
Night at the Circus boasts one anchor product, Big Top, available in both modular and broadloom that can serve as a backdrop for a variety of interiors. The collection also includes five larger-scale, modular-only products that are manufactured with eKo – J+J/Invision’s PVC-free backing with recycled content that provides closed-loop recyclability.
They are Clowning Around, a spirited pattern of overlapping circles of varying scales; Flying Trapeze, a loose, free-flowing geometric pattern of lines of varying thicknesses; Funhouse, a contemporary design with a playful vibe; Highwire, a soft geometric and textural design with both structured and organic detailing offering flexible patterning; and Sideshow, a clean, architectural design with patterns that subtly fade in and out.
Night at the Circus offers saturated brights and rich neutrals, providing an ample range of color options. The line is also backed by J+J/Invision’s Total Performance System, providing a lifetime performance warranty for all J+J/Invision fiber, backings and adhesives.
