by Rebecca Walker — October 26, 2009—J+J/Invision has introduced K-2, a new rendition of its classic product, Karakul. K-2 presents a fresh look to a quality product, says the company, with an updated colorline to offer a more current, streamlined set of colorways.
K-2 was designed to reflect an overall natural appearance with a gentle surface texture and sophisticated colors. It is part of the Second Nature Collection, a grouping of products including Tussah and Shantung that are inspired by the natural fibers of silk and wool.
The construction of K-2 is quite similar to the original Karakul, but features a slightly more refined finish and texture, says the company. K-2 is available in broadloom and is now 100 percent solution-dyed, providing better appearance retention at a budget-friendly value.
Both the styling and range of colors of K-2 make this a flexible design that will work with many fabrics and finishes. This product will stand well on its own, or could serve as a coordinate to a variety of J+J/Invision products.
