by AF 0522 f3 — May 26, 2010—Kaivac, Inc., has renewed its corporate sponsorship of the Healthy Schools Campaign guidebook, The Quick and Easy Guide to Green Cleaning in Schools.
Kaivac has been a sponsor of the program since it began in 2006. This is the organization’s third issue. The Quick and Easy Guide to Green Cleaning in Schools is a multimedia guide to green cleaning. It includes an instructional booklet and CD-ROM comprehensively outlining the steps necessary for an educational facility to develop a green cleaning program.
“Kaivac has been involved with Healthy Schools cleaning programs since their inception,” says Robert Robinson, president and founder of the company. “We strongly support what the Healthy Schools Campaign is accomplishing and want to help them in any way we can.”
There are now more than 96,000 public schools in the United States used by more than 53 million students and 5 million staff members.
“This is 20 percent of our [country’s] population,” says Robinson. “And more than half of them are in kindergarten through eighth grade, making them the most vulnerable to [cleaning] chemical fumes and indoor pollution that can mar indoor air quality and health.”
Headquartered in Hamilton, Ohio, Kaivac, Inc. is the developer of the No-Touch Cleaning system. For more information, visit the Web site.
