by Ann Withanee — July 6, 2012—Facilities managers are constantly challenged to fulfill workspace needs as users become more mobile, working both individually and collaboratively in various locations, and solutions must be flexible enough to fully answer today’s changing work patterns. Responding to this need, Kimball Office is adding 120-degree-corner tabletops and 1-3/16-inch-thick tabletops to its line of mobile Scenario tables. The entire Scenario table line is immediately available.
“Today’s office settings require organizations to use spaces for multiple purposes, which makes the need for mobile, multi-functional and easy-to-maintain furnishings essential,” says Jan Dodd, director of product development for Kimball Office. “The new 120-degree Scenario tables can quickly and simply transform any space to offer collaboration or privacy that mimics a traditional benching solution. This latest addition to the Scenario line can quickly accommodate any space to meet the users’ needs, whether those are for studying, training, socialization or teaming.”
The 120-degree tables create effective teaming, studying and training areas while offering individual work zones. The Scenario line of tables now includes 1-3/16-inch thick tops with the options of a fixed, mobile or nesting base, an optional modesty panel and power/data capabilities. The new tops are also available on existing Scenario table sizes, and are complementary with other Kimball Office series as a guest or separate table. This is in addition to the existing half-inch phenolic tops that provide exceptional durability and a timeless, thin-profile aesthetic detail.
The new 1-3/16-inch tops are available in standard wood finishes and laminates, and bases are offered in Designer White, Platinum Metallic, Carbon Metallic and Cinder color options.
