by Ann Withanee — September 16, 2011—Select is a system of steel recycling units created for Landscape Forms, a leading global designer and manufacture of site furniture, by industrial designer Brian Kane. Select’s clean, modular design gives recycling an upscale look that is at home either outdoors or within the facility.

Heavy steel construction and 25-gallon capacity make the units strong, resilient and capacious. Hidden hinges and handles, flanged doors and cast aluminum trim rings lend a refined appearance. The cast iron base features adjustable glides.

Select is available as one, two or three units in plain or perforated steel. A choice of five-inch-diameter newspaper or multi-use openings is offered. Signage plates are offered with a selection of wording to support recycling program requirements. Each bin includes a polyethylene liner and has a hinged door for easy emptying. Units may be ordered with a keyed door lock.

A global company, Landscape Forms has an installed base of products around the world for clients located throughout North America, the United Kingdom, Southern Europe, the United Arab Emirates and Asia.

Facilities executives migrate toward site furniture, such as the contemporary collections offered by Landscape Forms, to bring a pleasant and contemporary ambience to public settings, transit centers, corporate parks, and college and healthcare campuses.
