Lencore Acoustics Corp. intros sound masking line

by Rebecca Walker — August 30, 2010—Lencore Acoustics Corp., a manufacturer of commercial sound masking systems, introduces the Jordna Hub to its line of Spectra i.Net Networked Sound Masking technology products.

The Jordna Hub enables very large facilities and multiple campus buildings to be tied together to a single central control panel in order to provide complete zoning and adjustment control for all facilities from one location.

The hub acts can provide connections for up to four additional campus buildings or facilities or can be connected to additional Jornda Hubs to provide added building connectivity.

Access to the system controls takes place at the Spectra i.Net head end equipment where an open platform web device houses the Spectra i.Net Sound Manager program. Using password protected access, the Sound Manager provides complete system tuning and zoning capabilities for all buildings that are connected to the Jordna Hub. The networked capabilities of the system enable it to address any facility connected through the networked system and hub, on site, off site, and remotely for 24/7 access.

The Jordna Hub provides an input that connects to one of the Spectra i.Net Operating Platforms or OP’s and then has four outputs that provide the ability for the Hub to branch to various other OP locations in separate buildings or facilities. Multiple Hubs can be connected to provide clients with almost infinite scalability and capability to meet future growth.
