This rating signifies that the products meet the strict energy efficiency guidelines set by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the U.S. Department of Energy, making them a good choice for businesses seeking to achieve their sustainability objectives in part by selecting the most energy-efficient products.
Led by three models in the LG “Art Cool duct-free split” series earning the ENERGY STAR Most Efficient designation, LG commercial units continue to advance the U.S. heating, ventilation and air-conditioning (HVAC) market with highly effective, energy-efficient and beautifully designed products, according to Kevin McNamara, vice president, Commercial Air Conditioning, LG Electronics USA.
The LG Art Cool and High Efficiency Inverter systems earning the Most Efficient rating are ArtCool models LAU090HSV, LAU120HSV, LAU180HSV and High Efficiency Inverter models LSU091HSV, LSU121HSV, LSU161HSV LSU181HSV, LSU240HSV. They feature outdoor units with energy-efficient inverter technology, designed to complement the sleek, mirror-finished indoor units with powerful green technology. The single-zone systems offer 9,000 to 22,000 BTU/h and easily installed wall-mounted indoor units, says LG.
