by Rebecca Walker — January 13, 2010—Lime Energy, a company offering solutions that allow clients to spend dramatically less on energy and building operations, has been awarded three contracts, worth up to $28.5 million, to improve the energy efficiency of United States Postal Service (USPS) facilities along the East Coast.
The company has already provided about $30 million worth of work for the USPS over the past six years.
Under the new contracts, Lime will investigate energy efficiency projects and opportunities at USPS locations within seven regions that include New Jersey, Delaware, Philadelphia, District of Columbia, Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina and South Carolina.
The contracts allow for Lime to design and conduct more than 1,800 pre-determined energy efficacy projects, covering surveys, energy solutions and energy efficient lighting and equipment.
