LogiSon adds sound masking security with Acoustic Network Supervisor

by Ann Withanee — October 13, 2010—K.R. Moeller Associates Ltd., a global developer and manufacturer of sound masking technology, announces that its Acoustic Network Supervisor software, a first-of-its-kind component of its LogiSon Acoustic Network, is now available.

The Acoustic Network Supervisor software was developed for clients who must be confident that their sound masking system is 100 percent operational, 24/7.

The new software launched features two key components to efficiently pinpoint issues within the LogiSon Acoustic Network so that they can be quickly addressed. First, the user defines the intervals at which the Network should be checked, from as often as every minute up to as long as twenty-four hours, depending upon the facility’s requirements. Second, the user defines to whom e-mail notification should be sent if an event occurs. E-mail recipients can include facility managers, IT personnel and a certified LogiSon representative.

The Acoustic Network Supervisor software also provides additional customizable notification options. For example, the user can add a unique name to the notifications, providing a means of identifying individual locations if the e-mail is sent to a remote recipient or one who is monitoring several facilities or floors for various tenants.

With the launch of the Acoustic Network Supervisor software, K.R. Moeller continues to build on its commitment to delivering the highest quality sound masking products and services. In 2003, the LogiSon Network launched, creating the networked sound masking category. Additional software applications offered with the LogiSon Acoustic Network include the Acoustic Network Manager and Page Director, providing industry-leading control over settings, zoning and paging features.
