by Shane Henson — October 25, 2013—Magnuson Group recently announced the availability of ARTRIA, its new line of large-capacity outdoor waste receptacles that it says offers high-function features and a uniform design aesthetic not found on most outdoor containers.
ARTRIA is a large-capacity, triangular-shaped metal container that visually appears lighter than its volume. Designed by TEC Studio and manufactured by Vilagrasa of Barcelona, Spain, the container comes in two capacities and three versions.
Typical installations include corporate, professional, and governmental buildings and offices; schools and universities; entertainment, healthcare, and hospitality facilities; and retail stores. Applications include high-capacity, high-security installations where units can be grouped according to waste collection and recyclable material.
All versions have a formed concrete base, a tilting door fitted with anti-vandal integral key lock, and a bag-supporting outer trim ring for easy front emptying. The cast-aluminum head and body come in anthracite or blue. The ARTRIA larger model has a raised, supported cast-aluminum head for rain protection of waste, and can be fitted with an ashtray on the door, says Magnuson Group.
