by Shane Henson — March 8, 2013—Real estate and facilities management software developer Manhattan Software recently published The Manhattan Big Data and Analytics Playbook, a publication designed to make senior managers of real estate and FM organizations aware of new opportunities that are creating a revolution in the global world of business and government.
Manhattan Software says it based this initiative on the “7 V’s of Big Data:” volume, velocity, variety, variability, veracity, visualization and value, as well as the Nexus of Forces that explain the technological convergence of cloud computing, information, mobility and social media.
According to the company, the early ideas for the publication were revealed at the 2012 CoreNet Global Fall Summit and in the latest edition of THE LEADER magazine. The Playbook will be augmented by an educational session at IFMA’s Facility Fusion in April, in magazine articles in FMJ and RealcommEDGE magazines, and at events including Tradeline, the 2013 Manhattan User Conference in Las Vegas in May, and the Manhattan Executive Summit in September, as well as in company-sponsored Webinars, newsletters and videos.
