by Shane Henson — May 13, 2013—Matrix Cleaning Systems has released a range of industrial steam cleaners helpful for janitorial staff at all types of facilities for a variety of uses.
According to the company, its steam cleaners have been specifically designed and selected to fulfill all heavy-duty cleaning applications. Each machine features a continuous stainless steel boiler with steam temperatures at source between 165 to 180 degrees deployed at pressures from eight to 10 bar.
As a deep-cleaning solution, steam has many benefits over other cleaning options, the company says, making it the first choice for leading cleaning professions. For example, steam effectively cleans areas that other methods cannot, and without the use of toxic, noxious or irritating chemicals. It also is able to reach into the tiniest cracks and crevices and drive out dirt and germs from areas other cleaning methods cannot reach.
Steam cleaning works on stoves, refrigerators, and other kitchen surfaces; toilets, sinks and other restroom surfaces; office products such as filing cabinets and desks; and windows and mirrors. Of course, steam cleaning can also be used to keep floors clean and polished looking, says the company.
Matrix Cleaning Systems’ machines are manufactured from stainless steel, making them ideal for food preparation, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, hospitality and kitchen environments, and use between 2.5 and 26 liters of water per hour, making them very ecologically friendly and inexpensive to run, the company adds.
Generating higher volumes of steam means faster cleaning: these machines generate from over 150 liters to a massive 500 liters of steam volume per minute, making fast work of even the most stubborn ingrained dirt and swarf-laden grease. A detergent injection facility is also available for speedier removal of ingrained dirt from heavily soiled areas as are optional heavy-duty industrial wet pick up vacuum cleaners.
All models are designed with automatic boiler filling systems for continuous water filling capacity eliminating cooldown and reheat times. The 10 and 20 kilowatt models can also be coupled with the company’s new conveyor cleaning system for either flat, slatted or mesh belts, says Matrix Cleaning Systems.
