by Brianna Crandall — March 7, 2018 — Energy-efficient lighting products provider MaxLite recently presented the MPulse Area Light as the newest release in an award-winning range of architectural outdoor luminaires designed with visual comfort optics and elegant aesthetics. The MPulse Area Light is offered in a wide range of lumen packages and distribution types to address a variety of outdoor lighting needs, including corporate or educational campuses and parking areas.
Select models feature patent-pending optics that distribute light through a non-pixelated light source, resulting in uniform and glare-free illumination that enhances the visual comfort and safety of pedestrians and motorists. Featuring a slim and modern form factor uniquely optimized for LED technology, the Area Light can be combined with a full solution family to create design continuity in commercial, municipal, retail, education, and hospitality lighting projects.
MaxLite offers the MPulse Area Light in Type II, III, IV and V distributions, and color temperatures of 3000K, 4000K and 5000K, to suit a broad range of application needs. Output selections range from approximately 12,500 to 38,500 lumens. The IP66-rated luminaire achieves a minimum of 120 lumens per watt, delivering significant energy savings and excellent durability in the field.
Engineered to be virtually maintenance-free, the MPulse Area Light is rated for 100,000-plus hours of lumen maintenance at L93 standards and comes supported by MaxLite’s 10-year limited warranty.
