Meridian Project Systems releases newest version of project management software

October 26, 2001—Meridian Project Systems (MPS), a provider of software and e-business project management solutions for the architecture, engineering, and construction industries, recently released Project Pack version 6.5—a suite of commercially packaged project management applications that includes Prolog Manager for comprehensive project management, Prolog Web site for project team Internet collaboration, Prolog Executive for data mining and reporting, and Prolog Pocket for mobile field management.

Highlights of new Prolog Project Pack 6.5 enhancements include:

  • Improved document management abilities;
  • Prolog Calendar, a project-wide calendar resembling Microsoft Outlook;
  • PDF and XML formatting without the installation of the Adobe Acrobat;
  • Enhanced multi-project features that allow users to set database field labels and automatically filter companies and contacts by project;
  • Batch reporting;
  • Windows XP compatibility;
  • Optimized security, tracking, calendaring, and redlining capabilities; and
  • Expanded multi-project administration functionality.
