July 6, 2005—Meridian Systems, an enterprise software provider for optimizing real estate, construction and other physical infrastructure programs, has announced that Proliance 3.0 integrates with Microsoft SharePoint products and technologies.
The Proliance solution provides complete infrastructure lifecycle management (ILM) to organizations with significant capital project portfolios to efficiently plan, build and operate all of their real estate and other physical infrastructure assets, the company says.
Companies managing large construction and real estate projects must track both structured and unstructured information. Proliance uses XML technology to efficiently manage structured data, such as project budgets, contracts, schedules, assets, and work orders.
SharePoint Products and Technologies complements Proliance by allowing users to create document libraries and folders for uploading unstructured data formats, such as CAD drawings, photo bitmaps, PDF documents, and Microsoft Office System documents, says Meridian.
