by Ann Withanee — September 26, 2011—For interior spaces requiring both light fixture and ceiling fan—be it private office or elegant lobby—Meyda Custom Lighting combines both in a new fixture that is part of its award-winning Chandel-Air family. An added advantage: the custom-made light is energy efficient.
Offering an American-made Craftsman look that incorporates innovation and ceiling fan technology, Meyda Custom Lighting’s Mission Hill Top Chandel-Air (114415) has an Amber Mica shade that doubles as a decorative casement for the oil rubbed bronze finished fan with color coordinated blades. The lower border is designed with eight MR16 halogen lamps used for downlights.
Mission Hill Top blends custom design with a fan built into the unit. The Chandel-Air fan can be used to pull hot air up and keep the space cool in the summer. In the winter it reverses to push down hot air and maintain warmth. It operates with an optional two-circuit remote control with three-speed fan control and dimming capabilities.
Facilities managers will view the decorative fixture as an energy saver as well as a means of maintaining appropriate temperatures and lighting levels for the comfort and pleasure of occupants. The versatile fixture adjusts to accommodate flat or vaulted ceilings of any pitch or height. With unlimited custom options, the Chandel-Air can be manufactured in nearly any size, color or finish. It is UL Listed for damp locations.
Meyda Custom Lighting is a Meyda Tiffany Company, a leading manufacturer and designer of custom Tiffany lamps and decorative lighting, including LEDs, compact fluorescents and incandescents.
