by Shane Henson — June 23, 2014—Moerman, a provider of floor, window, and wall cleaning products used in countries around the world, unveiled two of its most recent innovations at the ISSA/INTERCLEAN cleaning industry show held in Amsterdam last month.
The company’s Hybrid Floor Squeegee makes cleaning easier and faster for janitorial staff working within all types of buildings. This unique floor squeegee is made with a heavy-duty rust-resistant galvanized steel frame, with just the right combination of metal and plastic. This squeegee is especially designed for heavy-duty cleaning jobs and offers superior user friendliness thanks to the threaded handle, says Moerman.
FMs can choose from the Black Dura-Flex rubber squeegee, a great general-purpose material for cleaning areas where oil and heat resistance is not required such as schools and public facilities; the White Dura-Flex rubber, used when hygiene is an important factor, such as with cleaning swimming pools and sanitary rooms; and the Red Dura-Flex rubber, which contains Neoprene to give excellent resistance to the oils, acids, greases, and solvents often found in factories and maintenance facilities.
Moerman’s Swivel Squeegee and T-Bar allows janitorial staff to clean windows with ease. Its ergonomic design ensures smooth and easy performance without causing excessive strain on arms and shoulders—even after hours of intensive window cleaning, the company says.
The Swivel Squeegee handle features a 180-degree pivoting head that automatically adjusts to the correct angle. Securely fitting on the Moerman ProClean extension poles, the swivel technique can easily be performed and allows access to windows that are hard to reach. Moreover, the grip can be put in a 0-degree or a 40-degree angle by pushing the button at the side. The grips works well with the Moerman ProClean stainless steel and aluminum channels, the company says.
