MovinCool publishes free guide for keeping data centers cool

by Rebecca Walker — August 24, 2009 MovinCool has announced publication of a new free guide for IT managers, facility managers and mechanical contractors, Reducing the Cost of Keeping Office Data Centers Cool: Portable Spot Air Conditioners as Permanent Cooling Solutions.

The eight-page guide from MovinCool examines the benefits of using portable spot air conditioners as a less-expensive, permanent cooling solution. The guide is available as a free download from the MovinCool Web site.

MovinCool, which says it is the worlds largest manufacturer of spot air conditioners, is a brand of DENSO Corporation. In the 1980s, DENSO pioneered the concept of workspace spot cooling to meet its own factory needs in Japan. Since then, MovinCool has developed a wide range of portable and ceiling-mount air conditioning systems for many different applications. For more information, see the Web site.
