For a sleeker, more corporate look in self-cleaning surfaces for touchpoints, see the new Nanotouch design

by Brianna Crandall — September 22, 2021 — Visibility is key to showing tenants, employees and customers that you care about their health and well-being, reminds NanoTouch Materials, a provider of continuously self-cleaning surfaces. When the company first created its award-winning NanoSeptic self-cleaning surfaces to reduce germs on high-traffic touchpoints, the first look was bold to catch people’s attention. NanoTouch Materials notes that the product category hadn’t been invented yet, and the public had little to no awareness that self-cleaning surfaces existed.

Fast forward to today, and the self-cleaning surfaces cover 10 million touchpoints worldwide. Between exponential growth and hearing that customers were ready for a more corporate look, the company took action. NanoSeptic has been rebranded to Nanotouch (with the company name of Nanotouch Materials), with sleek new workplace-appropriate visual designs and a brand new website for the same product that many people and organizations have come to depend upon.

The company now offer three new colors so you can pick the one that matches your facility’s style. Another option is to switch among the different colors every 90 days to clearly communicate that you regularly replace Nanotouch self-cleaning surfaces according to efficacy guidelines and best practices. If you are a current client, samples are heading your way.

Nanotouch nontoxic Skins and Mats are designed to safely transform dirty, high-traffic public touchpoints like door handles, elevator buttons, touchscreens and bathroom stall doors from time-sucking nightmares for custodial staff into continuously self-cleaning surfaces.

Powered by light, Nanotouch surfaces utilize mineral nanocrystals that create a powerful oxidation reaction. Working 24/7, the surface continually oxidizes organic contaminants. Unlike traditional disinfectants and cleaners, the Nanotouch surface uses no poisons, heavy metals or chemicals, and nothing is released from the surface since the nanocrystals are molecularly bonded to the material.

FacilitiesNet Vision Award

The company also just announced that Nanotouch has received the FacilitiesNet Vision Award. Ten years after the founders’ vision of creating self-cleaning surfaces, they are honored to receive a Vision Award for Interiors, one of nine categories. These FacilitiesNet.com awards “honor innovation and excellence in products contributing to the efficient, profitable operations and management of institutional and commercial buildings in the United States.” The company’s leaders say they are humbled to be recognized along with such luminaries as Sherwin-Williams and Aleddra LED Lighting.
