The certification, which verifies that a window film performs as stated in the areas of solar heat gain coefficient and visible light transmission, comes at a time when customers are paying close attention to the environmental practices of the companies with whom it does business, according to the announcement.
Madico’s worldwide dealer network is now able to assure its commercial, residential, and government customers that Sunscape Select, SafetyShield, and Advanced Ceramics films have been proved to meet independent, government-monitored standards, says the company, which adds that NFRC certification is the first step towards receiving an ENERGY STAR rating.
