by Ann Withanee — June 13, 2012—Allermuir has announced its new Phoulds conference seating, designed to infuse “a sense of adventure” into a company’s meeting and conference environment with its unconventional looks and versatile appeal. The well-proportioned, functional conference seating line offers a variety of options for facilities executives and their consultant designers.

Designed by the Allermuir Design Team, the Phoulds seat shell is finished in beech veneer that can be stained or tinted to create a custom look. The inside of the shell is upholstered in a series of interlinking ergonomic pads to bring comfort to a high level. The pads take on a custom look when selecting from a wide range of fabrics and leathers. Even the outer shell can be upholstered to create a more integrated look.

With base options to further personalize appearance, Phoulds can be selected with a four-star aluminum base or four-leg frame in high back, medium back or light stacking options.

Phoulds is one of several dramatic seating and table choices Allermuir showcased at its Merchandise Mart Showroom during the NeoCon contract furnishings show in Chicago in June.

Allermuir, one of three brands of the U.K.-based, global office furniture manufacturer the Senator Group, manufactures an extensive range of high-quality, contemporary seating and tables for the contract market, from designers in the U.K. and Europe. The company specializes in furniture for leisure and corporate environments, such as dining areas, cafés, breakout areas, reception areas, public spaces and bars.
