by Ann Withanee — July 9, 2012—Dauphin’s newest privacy seating designs afford choices to facilities managers and specifiers for use in open areas when confidentiality is necessary. The three lounge seating styles were designed to afford privacy and perfect acoustics through the choice of different back heights.

The three styles, HiLine, Atelier and Noble, were showcased during NeoCon 2012 at The Merchandise Mart, Chicago. Each style was designed to make a statement in any touchdown space, notes Dauphin, and each can further enhance dynamic spaces that promote collaboration, enhance creativity, increase productivity and inspire innovation.

HiLine is available in low and mid back heights. Its design accords privacy plus flair to any touchdown space, and the unpretentious functional design enables it to be used in places where people meet. Dauphin points out that the unique inner spring seat cushion provides superior comfort not easily found in today’s commercial seating products.

Atelier stands strong among the best while tailoring back a bit to be more flexible and adaptable where other furnishings can’t be, says Dauphin. This lounge seating is available in three heights — sofa back, mid back, and tall back. It essentially delivers privacy while also giving facilities managers choices to best meet the design of the area and users’ requirements. With Atelier, the ability to provide what is needed for the space can be achieved easily as the sides extend to the front of the seat to ensure maximum privacy. There is also a unique inner spring seat cushion that provides superior comfort.

Noble is a “resplendent” lounge furnishing that will make a statement in touchdown spaces. With Noble, privacy is accorded, acoustics are perfect and it is available in two back heights. This is a plush lounge furnishing that is attractive as well as practical. The unique inner spring seat cushion provides superior comfort, and the mid or high back offers the option to add a shelf to the back. This shelf that protrudes off the back is in essence a workspace that adds more functionality to Noble. Power is managed in a way that does not distract from the furnishing but instead is part of the whole image that Noble projects.
