by Ann Withanee — June 11, 2012—Inscape celebrates the versatility of its work systems, storage and walls by showcasing a series of creative applications during NeoCon, at the company’s permanent showroom in The Merchandise Mart, Chicago.

A set of universal components, the Inscape System line permits limitless, and flexible, applications for the workspace, including low and high panel workstations, benching, collaborative work areas and private offices. The universal components are easily reconfigured—repeatedly.

Among the new product features in the displays are an Electrified Twin-Bin that offers shared workspace storage and a lockable spot for charging mobile devices. The slip profile minimizes shadows created by overhead light fixtures and eliminates need for energy-consuming task lights.

A new option allows a different paint color on each drawer front. The ability to paint a different color on each drawer front of a storage unit provides facilities execs and designers with the flexibility to creatively incorporate storage units into their designs.

Technology enhancements allow seamless lay-in and integration of power/data between 2 1/4 in. and 3 1/2 in. thick panels as well as a 6 in. thick panel for extensive power/data needs.

Unique storage options consist of sliding and cantilevered storage featuring magnetic back-painted glass with whiteboard surface that serves dual functions.

Inscape System is certified under the American National Standards Institute/Business and Institutional Furniture Manufacturer’s Association (ANSI/BIFMA) “level” certification for furniture as well as the GREENGUARD indoor air quality standard, and it also contributes toward Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certification.

The Inscape showroom will also showcase its wall systems. The boardroom will feature Addwall in a movable glass storefront application, as well as the hanging capability of Addwall wall panels with storage units mounted on the wall. The Acme 50 seamless glass wall system will be shown in private office applications and will include a custom door made of warm color palettes, a change from anodized aluminum that is typically used in other systems.
