by Ann Withanee — June 18, 2012—SitOnIt Seating introduced Torsa to the world of contract furnishings during the recent NeoCon contract furnishings show at The Merchandise Mart, Chicago. Torsa, the newest ergonomic work chair by SitOnIt, is notable for its “exceptional comfort and affordability and is set apart by stunning design inspired by nature.”

“Torsa balances a sculpted design with broad color options and advanced functionality,” says Mark Mannon, Director of Product Marketing for Exemplis Corporation, makers of SitOnIt brand products. “We see this chair positioning well as both a high-performance work chair and as a more elegant conference solution.”

The chair was conceived and built by the SitOnIt Seating in-house design team headed by John Phillips, Vice President of Engineering. The chair, he says, emulates comfortable, natural body posture, ease of motion, and adjustability to yield a holistic integration of seating structure with the human form.

Suggested list pricing for the Torsa work chair, with adjustable seat-depth, lumbar and arms, is $690. Options include granite and white frame and arm colors in addition to a broad selection of mesh colors. Availability is slated for early September 2012.

SitOnIt Seating build-to-order products are manufactured in southern California for timely shipping in as little as two days. SitOnIt Seating is a brand of Exemplis Corporation, a U.S. designer and manufacturer of build-to-order furniture.
