NeoCon 2013: Surfacetech’s allo and Bamboo tables offer easy transitioning, sustainable elegance

by Brianna Crandall — June 17, 2013—Surfacetech, a national distributor of custom contract furniture, launched its new allo and Bamboo table collections at the NeoCon 2013 contract furnishings show in Chicago June 10-12. Both products were part of the Best of NeoCon Competition, with allo in the Tables/Training and Work category and Bamboo in the Conference Room Furniture category.

The allo table line is designed to adapt to the needs of today’s most modern conference/training rooms. Designed exclusively for Surfacetech by Dale Frommelt, the collection, when partnered with the Pivot connector, easily transitions from positions of training to conference to teleconference to telepresence. Along with enabling the allo collection to transition, the Pivot includes a power bar that houses daisy chain-ready power and data. The collection also offers an option to nest easily for storage, and features a standard built-in modesty panel.

The Bamboo table line is made of solid bamboo. Designed for the customer that requires elegance and demands sustainability, the Bamboo table offers hidden wire management, and the modular Bamboo credenza provides extensive modularity. The collection offers two styles of bases: an open cube and an open rectangle base.

Surfacetech recently announced that its entire product line earned GREENGUARD Indoor Air Quality Certification issued by the GREENGUARD Environmental Institute (GEI), now part of UL Environment. During its 30-year history, Surfacetech says it has always strived to use low-emitting materials for fabrication of all products and was pleased to find those efforts rewarded. Restrictions include veneer and hardwood products.

The elegant and sustainable Bamboo table line offers hidden wire management and modularity.

Surfacetech has a federal contract with the General Services Administration (GSA), numbered GS-28F-0006V and GS-28F-0007V. For the discount structure, view the 2009 TIP IN page .
