by Brianna Crandall — July 8, 2015—The Finnish high-end phone booth company, Framery Acoustics Ltd., re-launched its acoustic phone booth innovation at last month’s NeoCon 2015 contract furnishings show in Chicago. The new Framery O took home Gold in the Technology Support category of the Best of NeoCon Competition.
The Framery O is a free-standing single-person phone booth built with superior sound insulation and acoustics, blocking sound from either entering or leaving the space. It is designed for an open office environment and intended for employees to occupy when they seek a quiet and private space to make a call or to work uninterrupted.
The phone booth is engineered to help improve employee efficiency in open-plan offices. The product is typically utilized as a shared space for multiple employees to use at their discretion, rather than an assigned space for a specific employee.
Compact and quick to assemble, the Framery O phone booth comes ready to use, with all the needed equipment: table top, air ventilation system, electric socket and LED lighting. The frame comes in shades of white, black or grey, and the body color can be orange, green, turquoise, white, black or brushed steel.
Framery Acoustics products have already penetrated to almost all segments in the high-end Scandinavian office furniture market. The office phone booths are already delivered to three different continents, and with over 10 official dealers in the USA, the company says it has the capability to deliver products to every state.
