by Brianna Crandall — June 22, 2015—Haworth, designer and manufacturer of furniture and technology for adaptable workspaces, showcased 14 new products created to “inspire and empower people to perform at their best” at last week’s NeoCon 2015 contract furnishings show in Chicago.
One of these new products is Workware Wireless Pro, a new component of Haworth’s Workware line of adaptable technology solutions for collaboration and sharing in a digital world. The company says its Workware product line makes it easy for groups to connect, share progress, touch base, compare notes, or consider multiple points of view, while generally keeping ideas flowing.
Designed by Ryan McClymonds, the new Workware Wireless Pro technology is said to greatly enhance the user’s experience from the previous Workware Wireless version. The versatility of this software experience bridges the gap, simply and intuitively, for sharing and collaborating securely with multiple people in multiple locations in real time, regardless of device, says Haworth.
Features include:
- Allows an unlimited number of users, on- or off-site, to share unlimited content—from a screen to a file or an app window—in real time
- Enables all participants to actively contribute by adding, combining, or shuffling content for a new level of sharing
- Users can control the screen layout, allowing them to view multiple pieces of content, stack content, or focus on one piece at a time
- Built-in flexibility of wireless software eliminates the hassles of connecting with cables
- Offers support for sharing from Android, iOS, Windows, and Mac, so people can be as mobile as their devices
- Privacy and control ensure security of sessions
- High-definition 1080p image quality enhances visual display
- Simple and intuitive user interface provides easy connection, speed of sharing, and configuration of content
Workware Wireless Base offers a similar, modern sharing experience of Workware Wireless Pro, with support for all devices, two-way viewing, content control and 1080p for up to 10 simultaneous users, and four shared screens.
Both versions use the same Workware Wireless Module 2.0 hardware, combined with the all-new Workware Wireless Software 2.0, allowing users to connect and share “at the pace of ideas.”
