by Brianna Crandall — June 20, 2016 — High-performance commercial flooring provider Patcraft was awarded Silver in the Best of NeoCon Competition [see FMLink article] during the NeoCon 2016 contract furnishings show last week for its AdMix resilient tile in the Healthcare Flooring category.
Patcraft announced a new product category for high-performance environments with AdMix, introduced at Neocon. AdMix is a homogeneous tile available in both 36” and 12” square tiles, offering a virtually seamless visual reminiscent of terrazzo.
The resilient tile is available in a mix of warm and cool neutrals, with a few bright color pops to round out the palette. The product can also be paired with weld rod to create accents and designs that complement the 36″ square or 12″ square tiles to provide extended design flexibility.
“We realize many color trends will come and go while this product is down on the floor,” said Pamela Rainey, Patcraft vice president, Creative and Design. “With a 25-year product life, the color line is designed to withstand the test of time.”
Requiring no wear layer and offering a 2500 psi when installed, AdMix is solid resin that maintains integrity when fully and continually immersed in water, making maintenance easy, and is backed by an industry-leading 25-year warranty, says Patcraft.
According to Patcraft, scratches are easily buffed out, offering strong durability in the heaviest traffic areas. With the option of heat-welded or flash-coved installation, AdMix is a top choice for high-demand, heavy-traffic areas such as healthcare and education facilities.
AdMix is created using up to 10.4% pre-consumer recycled content, and reportedly emits lower VOCs (volatile organic compounds) than linoleum and rubber.
Other collections that Patcraft introduced at NeoCon are: Mixed Materials Converge in the Carpet: Modular (tiles) category, Cosmopolitan in the Carpet: Broadloom category, and Set in Concrete in the Flooring: Hard-Surface category.
AdMix and the other collections Patcraft introduced are viewable on the company’s NeoCon Showroom Web site.
