by AF 0625 k3 NeoCon: — June 29, 2009—Reflecting the challenges, hope and optimism of our times, Bentley Prince Street delivers a new take on the urban scene in its product collections for NeoCon 2009. The Living On The Edge collection captures the moods, emotions and resilience of our American cities, where creativity inspires new traditions and ignites the future. The collection was unveiled in June, during NeoCon World’s Trade Fair at The Merchandise Mart, Chicago.
The Living on the Edge collection is highlighted by four distinct styles. New Gotham harks back to more elegant times and is offered in 18 colors. Satellite City brings a fresh perspective to broadloom and 18-in.-square carpet tile, all in 18 colorways. Suburban Fringe has a mid-scale pattern in an elegant texture. It is available in 18 colorways and coordinates with Satellite City. Edge City honors the basics with a modern transitional twist. Its frieze texture can be used in one color to create a subtle background or in multiple colors to design whimsy. Its 24 colors range from classic neutrals to saturated brights.
In creating the collection, Bentley Prince Street applied its trademark collaborative design philosophy to creative partnerships with Antron, Aquafil and Ultron to bring different textures, ingredients and processes to each product.
Manufactured at Bentley Prince Street’s LEED-EB Silver certified mill in California, all standard broadloom products are now certified at the highest Platinum Level with the NSF-140 Sustainable Carpet Assessment Standard. In addition, all of Bentley Prince Street’s standard carpet tile products, as well as all broadloom products using the optional Prestige PlusRC backing, are certified at the Gold Level.
