by AF 0629 e3 NeoCon'09 — July 1, 2009—When sightlines between teachers and students are blocked by computer monitors, a problem in many classrooms, a new solution from ISE is to press a button and the computer screen lowers or rises instantly and quietly. When the monitor is stored completely under the desktop, the Line-of-Sight desk transforms itself into a standard desk with plenty of work area. The keyboard and mouse can also be hidden away and protected from damage in an optional keyboard holder.

Introduced during NeoCon World’s Trade Fair in Chicago, ISE offers the Line-of-Sight desk as a single unit or one for two users. The dual desk has two independently controlled electric monitor lifts. Each user can separately adjust the monitor to give a clear line-of-sight or to position the monitor for visual comfort, especially for those using bifocal lenses. The user can also lower the screen to hide confidential information.

Options that are offered include a CPU holder; keyboard holder; 8-wire, 4-circuit power; power/data trough.
