by AF 0612 i3 — June 17, 2009—At the NeoCon World’s Trade Fair 2009, Tricycle is presenting new initiatives and partnerships as it honors its commitment to erase waste in the interiors industry. With years of dedicated research and development, Tricycle serves manufacturers and the architecture and design community by promoting a sustainable design process and introducing methods for accomplishing it. These can be viewed as they are explained at Tricycle’s 4114 booth, 8th floor, during NeoCon, June 15-18, at Chicago’s Merchandise Mart.
Tryk tools for hard surface products will be available as a part of Tricycle’s expanding product line. These products can now be simulated and presented as sustainable samples that are less expensive and much lighter than physical samples. And through the use of Tryk-powered online design tools, the specification cycle for designers and architects is a more efficient process with substantially decreased lead times.
Tricycle and Eflection, Inc. have formed partnership to allow interior designers and architects to immediately visualize products and layout specifications for a project after effortlessly uploading their floor plans to a Web-based suite of tools. Together, Tricycle and Eflection are adding speed and ease to the design process while reducing the need for environmentally unsound sampling practices. Ordering a TrykPlan sustainable paper sample of the floor plan is now as easy as clicking a button.
Tricycle is also asking interior designers and architects to join it in a public campaign to make the process of design more sustainable.
