by AF0619 b3 — June 23, 2010—Flurry, a modestly priced seating line from Encore, made its debut at the Encore showroom in The Merchandise Mart, Chicago, during NeoCon in June. Flurry is a high-density polypropylene stack chair that is ideal for training rooms, meeting areas, auditoriums, convention centers, and other gathering spaces. It offers functional ganging capabilities and can stack up to 10 high from the floor and 25 high on a dolly.
A one-half-inch steel rod frame means a more durable construction, and a contoured back and waterfall seat add visual grace and comfort. Functionality is further enhanced by a signature cut-out on the back that provides ventilation, and the seat itself features a recessed opening for cleaning ease. Optional clear glides and ganging connectors supply multifaceted opportunity with esthetic appeal.
Flurry is available in eight colors: Mimosa, Sky, Scarlet, Key Lime, Very Black, Medium Grey, Cocoa, and Soft White.
Flurry was designed in collaboration with Francisco Romero, a designer known for his explorations of material, form, and their impact on the human body, especially the human body at work.
