by AF 0620 e3 — June 28, 2010—Gunlocke, an industry leader in wood contract furniture, unveiled the Camille and Mara seating collections during NeoCon World’s Trade Fair at The Merchandise Mart in June. The styles may be different, but the collections share Gunlocke’s commitment to aesthetics, high quality and comfort, as well as fine wood craftsmanship, the company notes.
Sophisticated simplicity reigns with Camille, a wood side chair collection with uncomplicated, slim lines that complement nearly any design style. An open-back option features straight back legs, while a full-back model offers a slight flare to the back legs. The seat and back are foam-filled over flexible foundation and can be upholstered in a wide variety of textiles. Camille also can be specified with nine cherry finishes, three walnut finishes and three maple finishes, as well as custom options.

Gunlocke also introduced Mara seating, ideal for use in private offices. Inspired by mid-century modern design, and a popular Gunlocke chair developed in the 1960s, Mara boasts a newly updated look that can be used with almost any furniture style. Gunlocke’s continuing commitment to craftsmanship also is evident in the sleek curves of the line’s steam-bent maple arms.
Mara can be specified with nine cherry finishes, three walnut finishes and three maple finishes, as well as custom options. The upholstered seat is a plywood seat pan constructed with two layers of foam. The back is foam-filled over rigid urethane and also upholstered.
