by AF0612 i3 — June 14, 2010—Sit, flip and stow are the words that best describe the functionality of Zero1’s new patented Flip1 and Flip2 multi-purpose seating products, according to the company. Zero1 will debut Flip to the U.S. market June 14-16 during NeoCon at The Merchandise Mart in Chicago. The Flip family of chairs represents a new advancement in multi-use seating from Greenville, Michigan-based Zero1.

Designed and manufactured in the United States by award-winning designers Gardner Klaasen and David Valdiserri, who together have over 40 years’ combined experience in the contract furniture industry, Flip offers a versatile flip-down back feature, which enables the user to free up valuable work space by stowing Flip under a desk or a table at a moments notice. Out of the box, set-up of Flip takes less than a minute.

Flip can be built according to a customer’s specifications. However, it has standard features including a fully upholstered mid-back and seat; swivel-tilt mechanism with tilt-tension adjustment and an upright back lock for maximum comfort; 3.5-in. (90mm) pneumatic height adjustment; hard nylon, dual-wheeled casters, and fixed arms.
