by Shane Henson — September 4, 2013—Facilities and construction personnel may be better able to light large work spaces with Larson Electronics’ newly released work light.

According to Larson Electronics, manufacturer and carrier of a comprehensive line of light-emitting diodes (LEDs), its 9 Watt High Output LED Light Emitter on Magnetic Base [with a] Goose-Neck Arm (#LED40W-GNM) is highly versatile and designed to provide operators with a powerful yet easy-to-manage portable light capable of illuminating larger work spaces with a high-quality flood of light output.

Illumination from this LED work light is produced by a 9 watt LED lamp that features three high-output LEDs fitted within a waterproof housing and protected with an unbreakable polycarbonate lens. The work light’s mounting system consists of a 200 pound grip magnetic base, which holds a 20 inch flexible gooseneck. The lamp assembly is mounted to the end of the goose neck, and users can simply attach the magnetic base to any flat metal surface to instantly and easily temporarily mount the light wherever it is needed, says Larson Electronics.

The portable work light is ideal for a wide variety of applications, including those working underneath heavy equipment, performing underground utilities work, or even within containers or tanks where users need the ability to precisely illuminate the work space yet need both hands free, says Larson Electronics.
