by Rebecca Walker — December 18, 2009—NFS Hospitality Corporation has launched Rendezvous Workspace, an evolution of its highly successful browser-based Rendezvous technology for Meeting Room and Resource Management.
Rendezvous Workspace provides scalable tools to efficiently manage meetings, video-conferencing and flexible working. It differs from traditional scheduling and facilities management software in its ability to manage hot desks, hoteling, meeting rooms, car parking, visitors and videoconferences, notes the company.
This set of booking solutions is designed to help organizations address workspace challenges by responding to three important drivers: operating cost, scheduling flexibility and client services. The software suite can help save time and money, increase productivity, streamline operations, empower employees and reduce an organizations carbon footprint, according to the company.
The Rendezvous Workspace platform enables organizations to develop more flexible strategies for staff working and facilities management, and to re-engineer their processes and working patterns by:
- Making it possible to enable flexible working, by being able to design resource and workspace booking processes around the needs of the business
- Providing a user interface that requires no training, is simple and intuitive, and is fully integrated with the familiar Outlook desktop environment
- Enabling staff to conduct room, desk and resource scheduling from a mobile device
NFS will soon be hosting the first in a series of educational Webinars. How Rendezvous Workspace Greatly Enhances Room & Resource Scheduling in Outlook will include a live demonstration of the software, and a look at how Workspace can significantly extend and enhance what is already done in Outlook in terms of room and resource scheduling.
