by Rebecca Walker — May 9, 2011—NFS Hospitality, global provider of scheduling software, has entered a partnership with ITSL Group, a leading specialist technology company in the U.K. and Europe.
This alliance will allow NFS, providers of scheduling software for video conference and telepresence (VCTP) meetings, to provide a complete, professional service to its clients, given that as part of their AV Services, ITSL provide the equipment and infrastructure needed for the rooms that NFS’ Rendezvous Workspace scheduling software manages.
As the majority of work meetings are spontaneous or have no technical support, ITSL strongly believe in ‘pick up and use’ technologies; the systems they provide are so intuitively designed that they require no prior training and can be instantly used. With an integrated system from ITSL, you can connect, create and communicate.
ITSL’s solutions portfolio includes products by global manufacturer, Lifesize, whose ongoing HD technology research and streamlined business model make it a strong contender in the growing video conference market.
NFS plans to incorporate business rules into its software so that meeting rooms automatically power up five minutes before the meeting starts, and automatically power off if there is no check-in five minutes after the meeting ends.
The partnership will also allow the two companies to work together on proposals and tenders as well as on a range of collaborative initiatives such as Webinars, exhibitions & events, and company publications.
David Mapps, Sales Manager for Rendezvous Workspace, comments: “The future has suddenly become more interesting as this new partnership has set the wheels in motion to drive us towards the NFS Smart Room, where the meeting room literally becomes intelligent and manages itself. NFS look forward to the myriad opportunities that are now within our reach, and hope that both companies will grow and prosper as a result of the ongoing plans we have for the coming months and years.”
