by Jbs011210 f3 — January 13, 2010—Global manufacturer of professional cleaning equipment Nilfisk-Advance announces that it continues to expand into emerging markets: in recent weeks the company opened both a new sales company in Brazil and a new production facility in Mexico.
The new sales company, Nilfisk-Advance do Brazil, opened in December 2009. Nilfisk-Advance notes that Brazil’s growing standard of living increases the demand for professional cleaning equipment, and the Football World Cup in 2014 and Olympics in 2016 will further boost this development.
The new production facility in Queretaro, Mexico, also officially opened in December, equipped with the latest technology and equipment. For more than 40 years, Nilfisk-Advance has distributed its products in Mexico through authorized dealers. In 2006 Nilfisk-Advance established its own sales company in Mexico City.
Nilfisk-Advance expects to employ approximately 200 workers at the $10 million facility, assembling professional cleaning equipment.
