Norland to provide mechanical and electrical maintenance for London’s new tallest building

by Brianna Crandall — March 14, 2011—London-based Norland Managed Services has won the contract to manage mechanical and electrical (M&E) maintenance at Heron Tower, which will be the City of London’s new tallest building upon completion by Skanska. The work is expected to be complete by spring of 2012.

The 230-meter (755 feet), 46-story tower is recognized as a world-class, state-of-the-art concept building, demonstrating cutting-edge design and attention to detail with its slender glass and stainless steel structure.

Designed by architects Kohn Pedersen Fox, the building will provide 41,149 square meters (442,928 square feet) of office accommodation, as well as a restaurant and sky bar, and three basement floors of retail, parking, storage and management services.
