by Shane Henson — February 1, 2013—Furniture manufacturer OFM has made it possible for facilities managers to picture how its products might fit in a particular space through placing its entire product catalog on 20-20 Technologies’ office design software.
20-20 Technologies’ office design software, which uses two-dimensional (2D) and three-dimensional (3D) imagery, allows users to access an extensive library of manufacturers’ catalogs to arrange their space with specific chairs, tables, workstations, and more. After laying out a space, the user can then create comprehensive reports at the click of a button, including bill of materials, customer quotes and vendor purchase orders. The software is often used by facilities managers to design new facilities and manage existing assets internally.
As OFM explains, the company is uniquely positioned among manufacturers because all of its products are now available on 20-20 Technologies’ office design software.
“This puts OFM at a big advantage. It makes it so much easier for our dealers and end users to browse our entire library of products and choose accordingly,” said Blake Zalcberg, chief executive officer of OFM. “We anticipate this will also help increase sales, not just with existing customers, but with future buyers who will get to see our furniture first-hand through using the software and the benefit in buying our products.”
