Schneider Electric’s online educational resource Energy University offers more than 200 vendor-neutral energy efficiency and data center courses that can teach participants how to identify, implement, and monitor efficiency improvements for sustainable energy savings. Available on demand and always self-paced, Energy University can be a smart choice for busy professionals in any industry.
Vendor-neutral Energy University courses focus on the critical concepts and best practices necessary to achieve a high degree of energy management. Each course can typically be completed in less than one hour, with the online platform making learning convenient and accessible from any Internet-ready computer. Professionals can learn the secrets to better building environments in the new free Building Control course series, with topics focusing on basic system components, controllers and controlled devices and control loops and responses.
In addition to its online education and a Data Center Associate certification program, Energy University recently announced the launch of an online Professional Energy Manager (PEM) certification. Developed with the Institute of Energy Professionals (IEP), this exclusive program gives energy-focused individuals worldwide a new option for earning a highly marketable and respected credential in the growing field of energy management, says Schneider Electric.
