by AF j3 — February 24, 2010—The Planon Group, a global provider of enterprise real estate and facilities management software, has announced the release of the latest version of its software featuring major enhancements to the core suite of solutions.
Planon’s latest version (2010.A) builds on the company’s mission to provide easy-to-use solutions that reduce costs and improve environmental sustainability by smarter utilization of facilities and real estate assets.
The release is an enhanced version of its facilities and real estate solutions, featuring many new components aimed at improving ease of use and solution integration while delivering the full cost savings potential of Integrated Workplace Management Solutions (IWMS).
The 18 major enhancements include:
- Enhanced space management with stacking and blocking reports.
- New energy management reporting tools improve ability to manage, monitor and control energy consumption with full LEED and BREEAM compliance.
- New Web services capability enable organizations to easily integrate with Building Automation Systems (BAS), such as Johnson Controls.
- Improved SLA management and quality control tools help organizations capture, report and act upon internal customer feedback.
- Innovative new tools to facilitate integration and new 1-click action and alert functionality.
By integrating with Building Automation Systems, Planon is broadening the scope so that companies can move beyond data collection to operate on a single, unified platform for integrated data sharing to improve efficiency, maximize costs savings and reduce greenhouse gas emissions by optimizing energy usage across the portfolio, according to the company. Thus, Planon says it makes portfolio management easier for end-users by giving them the ability to capture, track and then analyze building information.
