Planon Software makes forecasting real estate and facilities needs easier

by Brianna Crandall — August 10, 2012—After substantial investments in research and development (R&D), including ongoing consultations with clients, Planon Software has announced the launch of its Strategic Space Planning (SSP) solution, an integrated workplace management system (IWMS) tool designed to optimally manage an organization’s investments in real estate and facilities.

Planon’s SSP, developed in partnership with clients that include U.S. Bank and T. Rowe Price, provides user-friendly drag-and-drop interfaces that deliver sophisticated yet intuitive analysis. The system provides insights and recommendations for streamlining costs while meeting future needs under a variety of scenarios, all presented in easy-to-understand language aimed at the highest level of decision makers.

Planon will present an in-depth demonstration of SSP, including front-line feedback from clients, at Planon’s upcoming Master Class for North American clients, being held in October in Orlando, Florida. SSP’s key features include:

  • Multiple “what-if” scenarios forecasting ahead five years
  • Easy-to-use forms to collect demand data from business unit leaders
  • Simplified KPI reports for stakeholders
  • Seamless integration with existing Planon solutions, such as Workplace Management
