by Brianna Crandall — October 4, 2013—Barcelona-based Proandre Hygiene Solutions, international providers of hygiene products, recently launched a range of urinal screens made of flexible polyvinyl chloride (PVC) to filter and deodorize high-use urinals in men’s public restrooms, improving the user company or organization’s image by presenting a more hygienic, pleasant environment.
The flexible filter is designed to prevent foreign objects such as cigarette butts and chewing gum that are sometimes tossed into a urinal from entering the urinal drain, thus avoiding pipe obstruction and subsequent damage in an easy and economical way.
At the same time, active fragrance and neutralizing agents injected into the filter during the manufacturing process release a soft fragrance when the filter comes into contact with water or urine, thereby absorbing the bad odors often characteristic of urinals.
The filter is currently available in two colors/fragrances: Orange (Tangerine fragrance) and Red (Passion Fruit fragrance), which complement Proandre’s other restroom ambience offerings.
