In accordance with FM Approvals’ Standard 2510, FM Approvals tested PS DOORS’ flood protection products to the rigorous standard, which included performance testing, deployment testing, hydrostatic loading, dynamic impact loading, materials testing, and a company facility and procedures audit.
The first two certified products are the Pedestrian Flood Door (Model PD-520) and Flood Plank Barriers (Model FP-530A). PS DOORS offers additional models of flood protection barriers to meet the needs of various flood protection plans and applications. Receiving the “FM APPROVED” mark allows PS DOORS’ products to be listed in the FM Approval Guide, enabling companies worldwide insured by FM Global to utilize these products to reduce loss risk.
