The new “green” bulbs use about one-fifth of the energy of traditional incandescent light bulbs and are estimated to last for two years.
Known as the Clean, Green Light Bulbs, the Purely Anion bulbs have a built-in negative ion generator that removes “positive ions” created by fluorescent lighting, electrical devices like televisions and computers, as well as smoke, pet dander, dust, mites and other airborne contaminants.
