by Brianna Crandall — August 24, 2012—U.K.-based business services group Rentokil Initial recently announced the acquisition by its Initial Facilities Division of London-based technical facilities management business Modus FM from Modus Group Limited for up to £5.3 million. The acquisition gives the division additional technical services capability.
Rentokil Initial delivers essential services in areas such as facilities, textiles, plants and artwork, medical, hygiene, specialist hygiene, parcel delivery and pest control to government and commercial sector organizations of all sizes, across all business sectors, through its network of over 1000 branches around the world.
Modus FM is the facilities management division of Modus Group. Modus FM provides a wide range of mobile and on-site business support services, from electrical, mechanical and fabric maintenance to support for full FM contracts. The business has a blue-chip customer base and employs a total of 160 people.
