by jbs031910 C3 — March 22, 2010—Where there was once desert, Saudi Arabia is building what it calls Economic Cities, which will fuel a massive demand for air conditioning products, says a news report from building services research organization BSRIA.
BSRIA says that despite the worldwide economic recession, the construction industry in Saudi Arabia is still relatively buoyant, and Saudi Arabia remains a very promising market for air-conditioning products due to its hot climate, high per capita income and rapid population growth.
Air conditioning products are reportedly considered a necessity in Saudi Arabia, and are installed in almost all buildings throughout the country. BSRIA opines that the government will be able to sustain a significant investment in construction projects for the next two years, and then it depends on whether the economic crisis continues or oil prices recover.
“Air conditioning market in Saudi Arabia” examines several different types of air conditioning products and explains current and expected purchasing trends for each product in particular types of buildings and various areas of the country.
