Secura Key updates access control kits to include printer

by Rebecca Walker — July 23, 2010—Secura Key announced that it has updated its entry level SK-EZ/IDKIT3 to include the new Ultra Magicard Pronto Printer.

SK-EZ/IDKITs are complete packages that include everything you need to begin making color photo identification badges using your access control cards. SK-EZ/ID software has been specially designed to integrate with SK-NET access control software, eliminating the need to input data in two separate databases. Easy-to-use badge design templates are provided, as well as all the tools you need to create your own special look.

Each kit includes a quality Magicard printer, covered by a comprehensive 2-year warranty, plus a Webcam, cables and a YMCKO ribbon. SK-EZ/ID software is also available separately in single user or client/server versions, says the company.

The Magicard Pronto printer features single card feed that lets the user produce a personalized card on demand in moments. It offers edge-to-edge and sharp image quality for simple and easy card printing in a compact and highly reliable package, says the company. Its light and compact design makes it easy to transport to any location and keep on any counter or desktop. The Magicard Pronto ID card printer now features the ability to write and erase rewritable cards. The Magicard Pronto printer delivers card visual security with its built-in HoloKote anti-counterfeiting watermark feature.
