by Jbs021409 c3 — February 18, 2009—Security Management magazine, published by global security organization ASIS International, is now offering free monthly audio podcasts. The podcasts make it possible for people who need to know about security to listen at their PC or on a mobile device to interviews with editors and authors who have contributed to Security Management‘s print edition.
Among the February 2009 topics are an assessment of the UK’s effort to regulate security services, an update on biothreat detection technology, and some tips on effective IT security audits. The podcasts debuted in January 2009, and featured harassment in the workplace, problems with temporary housing for people evacuated in emergencies, and security issues facing President Obama’s administration.
Security Management‘s Intelligence Editor Laura Spadanuta hosts the podcasts, which run about 15 minutes. The podcasts can be listened to online, downloaded, or subscribed to via iTunes.
